Just a reminder that our field trip forms are due along with $8.00 cash for the bus and admission. I already have two chaperones for this trip but there will be two other opportunities later in the year. If you need another form, let me know.
If your child's Grandparent would like to come in, we have Grandparents Day on Monday November 1st. Please return the form with their name and which session they would like to attend.
Tomorrow, Friday, is hat day - a last second addition to our Spirit Days. Your child may bring in a hat and wear it all day. ( Good taste dictates no Giants or Yankees hats, please.)
Finally, my son had an experiment last night for his class and I thought it might be fun for our kids to do it.
What you need to do is measure your child right before they go to bed and right after they wake up and see if they grew, shrunk or stayed the same during the night.
One night, right before bedtime, take a piece of paper and tape it to a wall. Have your child stand in front of it and mark how tall they are and then have them go to bed. When they wake up in the morning, measure them again and compare the two lines. What happened? Why do you think it did?
Do you have to do this? No , but it is fun to see what happens!
Have a great weekend!
