I realize that the Math sheet is the same. I was unable to print out a new one at home this weekend. The concept of what makes a triangle, rectangle and square and how they are different and the same is crucial to our Math Unit.
Triangles have three sides (or edges) and three vertices.
Rectangles have 4 sides (2 sets of equal sides) and 4 equal vertices.
Squares are a special type of rectangle that have four equal sides and four equal vertices.
These concepts will be tested on their assessment on Wednesday as well as the students' ability to build a shape (hexagon, trapezoid, or rhombus) using smaller shapes (trapezoids, rhombuses and/or triangles).
Thanks
